i just wrote a mamouth post covering everything, the days running up to the finish, what it was like, how i felt, and what i plan to do next (walk across africa) but the F***ING hotel computer decided to dump the whole lot

Well done Dave, we thought you had gone over the end when we didn’t hear anything for three days! Look forward to seeing the “Last Post” when the technicals have sorted out. It seems that I am not the only one who has been glued to the journals every day and they will be sorely missed. If you are passing Lillehammer between the 12th and 16th May I could put you up for the night, or are you jetting back to the UK? Email me if you want to take up the offer, it should be on file somewhere. We could always fit in a bit of skiing if you want!!!!!!!!!!!! It would be interesting to know how the sponsorship went - I have put in my “two penneth” and I hope others have done the same. Good luck in the future and I look forward to the next expedition. Keep us posted. You’re a great bloke in more ways than one!
